With summer heating up, dressing quickly becomes a case of "What can I wear that's light and easy to get on?" Luckily, rompers have made a comeback and they aren't only for children and beachwear anymore. These suits are loose-fitting, one-piece garments that are ideal for movement. Best of all, you don't have to match a top and bottom because they come together. Just pull one on, throw on some sandals, and hit the road.
Forever 21 has a great selection of rompers in many different styles. Take this turquoise Ready for the Sun Romper or this Claudia Floral Romper, both $20.
Anthropologie also sells rompers like the Pompidou Romper for $58. It has a flattering shape and a bold pop-art pattern.
So while I still wouldn't suggest wearing a romper for a night at the Opera, if you and your family or friends are heading to the zoo or the park, consider this cool and easy alternative to shorts and a shirt. Just don't forget the sunscreen! |
